Stepping out

Jake and Sawyer's mommy had been by to visit this weekend, bringing some IV-friendly outfits that she and Bryce's mommy had bought for Alan. Unfortunately, we were unable to close the snaps around his leg because of the swelling.

The doc was so pleased with the reduction in swelling this morning that we tried one of the outfits today. It was still a little snug around the diaper since we're using the next size up to get around all the swelling, but at least he's out of the hospital gowns!



Now that he was all dressed up we took him out into the atrium for a little sunshine and a change of scene. Big brother Kevin was here to visit and they both looked out the windows at all the passing cars. Kevin has been missing Mommy, and even though this is his third visit in three days, he started crying as he said "bye bye". He misses his Mommy and she misses him.
