After the last bag of chemo was removed last night and he had a bit of respite from all the poking and assessment, Alan got a little feisty. He took his hospital gown off and was rolling around the crib, pushing to sit up, sometimes getting tangled up in the IV lines. We even got some of his signature babbling. It's the most active he's been since the surgery.
The doc came to check on him at 11 last night. Everything looks good so far, and he's interested to see how Alan will respond to the chemo.
After some more partying around the crib, Alan actually settled to sleep, such deep sleep that they were actually able to get a full set of vitals (BP included) with no fuss in the wee hours of the morning.
He's continuing to sleep, after having a nice amount of milk. That is such a big relief, since he only drank of couple of ounces of milk or water yesterday. We'll see if he feels like playing when he wakes up.
