The doc just came in to check on Alan (in a pink golf shirt and a white "clean room" jump suit, but he *swears* he's not the Easter Bunny). It's too soon to really say how the treatment is going, but there are several encouraging signs: the swelling on his leg and other parts has come down, he's becoming active again, he needs pain medication less frequently and he has an appetite this morning. Barely 12 hours after the first treatment! There will be another dose of just one of the drugs next week, not the whole course that he got last night.

Yeah! Hopefully you guys will get to have a little bit of fun on Easter. So glad he's feeling a little better.

I'm available to help out in any way through Thurs. am (4-16) & available again Sun. evening (4-19) for as long as you need any help. We would be glad to have Kevin stay with us & I'd be glad to get him ready for school & be here for him when he gets off the bus.
