Alan has been doing so much better, laughing and playing. However, one thing has made perfectly clear that he is not 100% back to normal. While removing the needles to his port in order to change them, the charge nurse offered Alan his iPhone to play with in order to distract him. He showed him a "piano" app and a "drums" app, putting it within Alan's reach to touch the screen. At one point he even offered to let Alan hold it. Nothing. Is this possible? Our gadget happy boy not wanting to play with one of the latest smart phones?
Either Alan is a die-hard Palm enthusiast like his Mommy and Daddy (he's never turned down an opportunity to grab one of our Treos), the touch screen confused him (can it really be a cool gadget if it doesn't have buttons to push?) or he's just not all the way back to being our little monkey.
