06/18/10 10:27Doc A had the chem results from Tuesday's blood draw and Alan's levels have continued to improve! His white cell counts are very low though - this may be the lowest we've ever seen it. We'll keep a close eye on him this weekend - Doc P told me as we were checking out he already has orders written for Alan at the HEM/ONC ward for neutropenia fever, just in case. This dip is to be expected, so we aren't too worried - just cautious.

We were very happy to see Alan snacking quite a bit today. He was starting to eat quite well before the last chemo treatment, so it's nice to see him recovering his appetite. We are on track for the next chemo treatment on the 28th. We had originally scheduled a scan that day and we will still have one done on an inpatient basis.
