High fever

Alan had a very high fever this morning, so we brought him straight to the HEM/ONC ward. They gave him steroids and IV fluids as well as antibiotics. So far, the lab hasn't called with any results on the cultures, so hopefully we'll be out of here soon. Alan spent the day quietly with Daddy, including a nice nap. We won't be able to go home until his white cell count comes up, so we're hoping tomorrow morning's blood draw will give us some good news.
