Our lives have changed so drastically in the last month. It was one month ago today that Alan entered the hospital and we got the diagnosis of cancer. It feels like we've been tackling his tumour for years.
In the middle of all the change though, some things stay the same. Even with a bare head, an NG tube and hooked up to a feeding pump, Alan still loves emptying his basket full of balls and banging his toys together. It's nice to know that some things transcend the cancer.
Alan, you just keep doing those baby things! Don't forget to up-chuck on mom and dad, pack a mean diaper, take the car out for a spin....
