Up and down weekend

Alan had some rough nights this weekend. He nibbled some snacks, but didn't eat much. He finally pooped after some milk of magnesia and seems to be doing better with the methadone. The white lumen of the PICC line wasn't flushing so the IV team came to work on it. Before giving TPA to get the line moving she wanted a good look at the site to make sure it wasn't just that the line was kinked so we had to change the PICC line dressing again.

We made it to the Saturday afternoon bingo for the first time since being admitted to the hospital. There was no wagon so he rode in his wheelchair for the first time. He enjoyed getting out in the chair instead of the wagon and had fun playing with the bingo boards, leaving Mommy and Kevin to actually play bingo.

We went up to observation deck on Sunday with Miss Sara and Miss Aimee and the kids. Alan had a better view out the windwos in wheelchair and Miss Aimee brought a Gymboree bubble blower so he was finally blowing his own bubbles!
