Starting the next treatment

Alan had another rough night, with the pain coming in waves again and the docs are perplexed. He was very cranky for the PT Miss Denise. After working a little bit for her we paused since Alan scratching left knee and pointed to it saying "owie". It wasn't swollen but there may have been a bit of a rash. We'll keep an eye on it. As we were putting him back in bed he ripped several big toots, then he was fine. He was also cranky for SLP, then calm after she left. While some of the crankiness is legitimately due to pain, we suspect there's also a but of tantrum-throwing to get out of the work.

The clowns from the circus that we saw with Kevin last night came to visit the hospital to celebrate the unveiling of a new mural and put on a show at the children's clinic. Then they came up to the floor to visit patients that couldn't make it out to see them. Alan played Fruit Ninja with one of them. After the clowns left, we went for a walk. Alan went outside for first time since coming to the hospital, from the main entrance at the Aquarium past the ER then back to Fountain entrance.

Doc H2 came in to confirm we would be starting chemo today. It took a while for the orders to be written and everything to go through the system so the infusion started in the evening. But we are finally on the next treatment.

Alan loves his soccer jerseys!
