07/08Good blood count today and the MRI results are great! The tumor has decreased in size almost 50% from the time of diagnosis (from 11.1 x 9.5 cm to 6.2 x 6.5 x 8.1 cm) and has retreated from his spine. It's still "involved" (that's radiologist-speak) with his right pelvic bone, but Doc A was very happy with what he saw. After these two upcoming courses of chemotherapy we'll get a CAT scan which will give us a better view of the bone. The MRI also showed some atrophy in the muscles of his lower right extremities, so Doc A would like Alan to start some physical therapy.

They've accessed both of Alan's ports and now we're off to the hospital for chemotherapy.
Hi Everyone!!! Just wanted to say Hi, and I am so glad to hear that Alan is doing well! =) God Speed!! Love, Lynelle
