Daddy blows bubbles for Alan
Well, thanks to the ace bandage wrapped around his chest, Alan managed a whole day without dislodging a needle! However, Mommy had a third straight morning of doing laundry. IV fluids plus Pediasure through a feeding tube equals huge, massive diapers. We try to keep him changed but sometimes, when he's sleeping so soundly, it just gets to be too much. Because of the chemotherapy, we need to wash his clothes promptly, and of course all the bedding has to be changed. Not a good thing for water conservation!
We're trying size 5 diapers tonight. Hopefully that will help! The chemotherapy drugs have been fully dispensed and Alan is down to just the post-hydration fluids. We hope to be home for lunch tomorrow!
