Office visit 3/9

We are still having some challenges getting blood returns, usually having to lay down and doing a few 'Hurrays!' pretty consistently now. But we were able to get enough return without having to resort to using TPA.

Alan's white cell counts were still low, so that means more Neupogen. Doc P also says that we have to be on guard this weekend... any fever above 101F requires a hospital stay. So even before we got home, Mommy started extra cleaning and wiping to help make sure things are ready. But it means that Alan is basically stuck at home for the weekend. We can still do the St. Baldricks' event on Sunday, but Alan will have to stay somewhat isolated during a lot of it.

Unfortunately, Alan's red cell counts are also low. Doc P has told us to probably expect a blood transfusion on Monday. If that happens, more than likely we will not be able to visit our friends in Dallas for spring break.

Here's hoping we at least have an uneventful weekend.
