Yet another uneventful treatment today. Alan continues to eat small amounts of a large variety of foods. Today he was happy to eat Junior Scrabble Cheeze-Its with letters on them!

It's been a battle with Alan's pain management. One of the factors is that the pain management drugs are constipating, thereby actually increasing Alan's discomfort for the obvious reason. We have to balance that with drugs (such as Milk of Magnesia) to try to keep things moving, but not so much that we're changing him every five minutes.

Today, he had a rather large bowel movement before we left for the clinic, so things are moving along (which we think has been helping him sleep this week). The funny thing is at the office, while briefing Doc P on the bowel movement, the doctor remarked that he may have done another. Sure enough, another large one that Daddy didn't notice. It could have been ugly if Doc P hadn't noticed it first!

One more day!
