03/02 11:03Alan was a feisty monkey last night, not falling asleep until past 10 PM, then waking up this morning around 5 AM to play. He got a few minutes of sleep before his appointment, but he was definitely tired today.

We had issues with blood return and with the first pump. It was constantly showing blockages downstream. We ended up replacing the pump and finally got the pre-meds and flush in... while Alan fell asleep! Of course, we then had to wake him up due to issues getting a blood return to administer the first bag of chemo.
He was cranky during the between chemo bags flush, mainly because he was tired. Once the second bag was started, he fell back asleep and managed to stay asleep through the rest of the chemo. It was a nice break for him.
We will come back on Monday for counts. Doc P is confident we will be able to travel during Spring Break to visit our good friends in the Dallas Area.
