Ways to help the Sanders' family

Hi. This is Denise, a friend of the Sanders' family. I know you join me in our love of the Sanders and desire to support them in any way possible. Here are some ways that we can help.

1. If you are in San Antonio, join the food tidings efforts to provide fresh healthy foods for the family to access easily during this difficult time, or drop off a 6 pack of Pediasure or Boost Kid Essentials or the HEB Buddies Pediatric Nutrition brand (chocolate flavor only, please). Alan likes these and can handle them easier than most foods during treatment.
2. Drop off or mail coupons for any of the above products. You can obtain coupons by calling Abbott Nutrition at 1-800-227-5767 or Nestle Nutrition for the Boost at 1-800-247-7893. This can be requested monthly per family with young children.
3. Provide a gift card of any amount for HEB, Subway, Jason's Deli, Super Salad or Target to allow the family to be able to quickly obtain needed staples or obtain healthy food on the run between treatments.
4. Order bracelets, wear them and have friends wear them as we rally our support behind Harold, Judy, Kevin and Alan! We are in the process of ordering a large supply of blue rubber bracelets that will read "Alan's Angels" as a visible sign of solidarity for this special little boy. Blue is the color for Sarcoma and the fight is on!

I would particularly love to see people at Hardy Oak, Crown of Life and other groups associated with the Sanders lives wearing these, but all of us, no matter where we live can get involved.
