Relay For Life 2012

This year's Relay is Alan's fourth trip around the track for the Survivor's Lap and Judy's fourth year with the Friends For Life team, now in it's seventh year! Harold set up rockets for a fundraiser at the Relay again, thanks to prizes sponsored by Bush's Chicken, the San Antonio Scorpions soccer team and the San Antonio office of the American Cancer Society.

After the Survivor's lap Alan went with big brother Kevin and Grandma to watch the rockets for a while, then he hopped onto Auntie Karen's lap and rode around the track with her on her scooter. He loved the breeze in his face as they zoomed along and she even let him steer.

The boys stayed long enough to see the Luminaria Ceremony with Alan's name then it was home and bed! Since we had just returned from Houston, Judy left at midnight but other members of the team walked on. Friends For Life raised over $9000.00 this year!
