09/17 10:35Daddy and Alan went to see Doc P one last time before our consultation with Doc L at MD Anderson next Wednesday. Alan was very cooperative today, a part of his overall mood improving this week, adding to the observation that as his counts go up, he will feel better in general.

Doc P was happy with Alan's counts recovering nicely, not even needing Neupogen before our next visit. He has expressed concern that we may not want to wait too long before the surgery starts in order to get the tumor out before it tries to build more of a resistance to the chemo.
Based on his concern, we suspect the surgery may come very soon after our consultation, so we have started making plans and arrangements for staying in Houston after next week.
Next stop, roadtrip!
