We are back in the hospital for another treatment of Irinotecan and Adriamycin, hopefully the last. Of course, that's what we thought last time, but Doc A is quite hopeful we'll be going to surgery after, especially since Alan has responded so well to this treatment before.
The HEM/ONC ward is full, so we are sharing a room for the first time. Unfortunately, we didn't get the bed by the window, so things are either really dark or really bright. Because of the flu season, children under 12 aren't allowed to visit in the rooms, so Mommy and Daddy are tag-teaming between Alan in his room and Kevin in the Family Room. Kevin will be back to school tomorrow, but it will still make visiting in the evenings a little more complicated.
