Post Spica Cast Six Weeks

It has been a good week. After getting home from Houston and checking in with Doc P, we enjoyed our weekend with a trip to Morgan's Wonderland. Alan was able to get himself around the Pirate playground, although it got pretty messy. Thank goodness for baby wipes! Alan also had a great time riding on the train and in the light room at the Sensory Village.

On Monday, Alan was able to attend the MOMS Club spring party and egg hunt. He had fun finding eggs and climbing the playground, slides and swings. Tuesday morning was Alan's second PT session. He was not as cooperative in trying to stand and put weight on the bad leg, but we still got some good exercises in. We also figured out that Here Come the ABCs is a better distraction than Here Come the 123s.

Then it was time to go back to Houston to meet with the surgeons.
