Office Visit 10/27

After kind of a cranky night and early morning, Alan was actually quite content for most of his treatment today. We had to go in earlier than the other days since he had speech therapy early in the afternoon. Again, a bit of TV, some playing with his toys, and a bit of electronic wizardry were enough to get him through the morning.

We also scheduled his blood transfusion for Thursday, since Friday will be kind of busy.

Dr. A gave him a quick inspection, and wondered if there was going to be anything left for the surgeons to remove. He is also still considering one more round of chemo before his surgery. We will evaluate as we get closer to the surgical date.

Speaking of which, we have found out that we actually have several appointments at MD Anderson before the surgery date, so we are doing some schedule shuffling to make sure Kevin will be taken care of for those days.
