Ten weeks
Alan slept well last with only one wake-up. Alan has been in the hospital ten weeks now, and being Friday it's time for dressing changes today (PICC, IJC, nephrostomy, and G-tube). It is also time for a new Fentanyl patch today. The hemoglobin counts are low but not down to the level (under 8 at MDA) that they want to give a blood transfusion. Since he's so puffy, he will be getting a little Lasiks. We also got good news that the blood culture taken on the 15th is still negative.
