11/07 11:25Just a quick trip to the office on Alan's birthday for counts. Alan is having fun doing his vitals now. He likes hopping onto the scale to get his weight, watching the ruler slide down to measure his height, and watching the numbers on the BP machine and thermometer. His weight was down from last week, which had us worried until we remembered that almost a full pound of orthotics was removed when his brace was adjusted on Friday.

While we waited for an exam room to open up we went by to visit our new friend from the RMH, since it was her birthday too and Alan had a present for his newest fellow warrior. It was just a quick "Hi!" before we went on with our own exam.
Doc P was happy with the counts and was not concerned with his continuing cough. It's a hazard of the season and Alan looks good. So we'll be back next Monday for round nine of post-op chemo.
