11/14 12:55The office was quite crowded today, so it took a while to get an exam room. We couldn't get our regular couch, and to delay things even more, we couldn't get a blood return on Alan's port. We ended up using TPA for an hour to get the blood flowing. It was a long day, but at least we had a special visitor with us, Auntie Neil visiting from California. When she stepped out of the exam room, Alan started crying for "Auntie Mel"... he loves "Auntie Mel"!

Once we got the port moving the chemo went smoothly. Alan had fun with his little laptop and showing "Auntie Mel" how he could count up to 100.
