CT

We went into the Children's Hospital for Alan's CT scan today. Being NPO was not a difficulty anymore since he's on TPN now. We wanted to let Alan stay awake since he had managed to do so at MDA in September and that would mean a quicker trip to Radiology today. The anesthesiologist set him him up with Propofol just in case and we ended needing it after all. In September, Alan was fascinated with the CT machine and it held his attention long enough for them to take the scan. This time, he was too excited and curious and kept fidgeting around to get a better look. Even with the sedation, things went smoothly and after a snooze in the PACU we were on our way.
