Busy day

We've had some preliminary discussions with the team regarding plans to get Alan home. We've discontinued the basal rate on his morphine PCA this afternoon and he has been doing well just on the Fentanyl patches. The nursing boluses and button on the PCA are still available, and of course we can restart a basal rate if necessary.

Otherwise, it has been a busy day of fun activities, with bubbles, walks, and visits from Art Therapy and Music Therapy. Alan loved counting numbers with Mr. Ian and choosing colours for him to make cool number caricatures. They made one through twenty-five, but Mr. Ian promised to come back tomorrow. Miss Aimee came with lunch for Mommy and Daddy and to visit. Then after our walk, Mr. Mike met us in the 10th floor play room to play music. Alan had lots of fun!
