A smooth day of chemo - Alan spent most of the day with his jungle ABC book, drinking Mommy's orange juice, and repeatedly pushing the "Silence" button on the IV pump when it beeped that he was done. It was surprising to see Alan's ANC so high after the low number yesterday. However, he did have a fever yesterday afternoon, and our nurse said the rise in ANC is a healthy reaction to getting sick. Doc P clarified his plan for Alan's treatment this week - we will skip Wednesday for our trip to MD Anderson, come back on Thursday for another treatment and be done. He wants to be sure that Alan is good for our trip to Canada and he wants Alan to be able to go on the trip. We will be back to a regular treatment next time.
